Cho Jin-hae was originally scheduled to hold a news conference early Tuesday, Korean time, in Washington, but had to cancel as she was unable to leave the hospital where she was receiving treatment. She has been hospitalized since she lost consciousness earlier on Saturday ― the 14th day of her hunger strike ― in front of the Chinese embassy in Washington.
