Korea-Arab Society Launched Officially

The Korea-Arab Society officially started operation Tuesday, after holding a launch ceremony in southern Seoul.
Lee Hee-beom, chairman of the Korea International Trade Association, has been appointed chairman of the society that will promote diplomatic, economic, cultural and educational exchanges between Korea and Arab states. Omani Ambassador to Korea Moosa Hamdan Al Taee is the vice chairman of the organization.
The Korea-Arab Society plans to send a Korean delegation to about ten Arab countries for economic and cultural exchanges in October and promote a number of cooperation programs in various fields.
