Apparently, “world star” Rain found fame not because he was talented but because he paid off the producers. Mr. Lee, who once worked at KBS made bold claims that he pocketed up to five billion Won by showcasing Rain dancing in forms of MVs when Rain was still a K-pop newbie.
Mr Lee continued to air dirty laundry by naming other stars who went through the same methods to get a breakthrough. I wasn’t surprised to hear Seo In Young’s name pop up, but Lee Hyori and Ji Sung? Had no idea that these stars were desperate for some spotlight back in the days.
