Forum on Bioethics, Asian Culture Opens Tuesday
The International Forum on Bioethics and Asian Culture will open at Ewha Womans University in Seoul on Tuesday.
The two-day event is jointly organized by the Ministry for Health, Welfare and Family Affairs and UNESCO, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization.
The forum will focus discussions on key bioethical issues and seek ways to reflect basic principles of bioethics in key policies and systems.
A total of 22 speakers from South Korea, China, Japan, the Philippines, India, Morocco and Thailand will take part in the gathering.
